What would you do if someone approached you to buy or sell drugs?

Have you ever thought about what you would do if someone approached you in the mall or at school to buy drugs off them?

STOP and seriously think clearly about what he has just offered you, and what consequences may be attached. There is nothing worse than police being on your case because you can’t stay out of trouble, and stressing your family out. Using drugs is risky, and it does cost. Whether it’s a few hundred dollars, or your health, it sure isn’t free.

DROP trying too hard to fit in. There’s always a way out of situations. DROP back and move out of the situation politely, state clearly that “you’re not interested”.

ROLL away and let a parent, guardian or the police know what has just happened just in case that same person hassles someone else, who may not be as strong in saying ‘no’. This will keep yourself and others safe.

What do you do if you are approached by someone who wants you to SELL drugs for them?

‘Running’ drugs refers to people that transport drugs for others, and a ‘dealer’ is someone who sells drugs to people. There are major risks involved in being part of the drug scene.

STOP to think what the outcome may be. There are massive consequences to being a dealer. Although the deal may sound sweet at the time, you could easily become a slave to the dealer and the trade. They may make you pay money to be ‘released’, or it may put you or your family at risk. Either way you lose out.

DROP the idea that being either a drug dealer or runner is an easy way to earn money, or that people will think you’re cool if you are doing it. Drug dealers rely on these ideas to pull people in – it is really just a trap for dirty money.

ROLL off and let somebody know what has just happened, whether it’s a parent, guardian, teacher or even the police. Safety comes first for not only you but anyone else who may also be getting harassed.
