Want to know whose behind Urge/Whakamanawa? Our team consists of Youthline staff and the Youth Urge Advisory Group.
Mark:
Mark is a 20 year old university student studying towards a Software Engineering degree. He is involved in heaps of different groups and clubs at the University, and has joined the UAG as a result of his interest in web development.
Illai:
Illai is a 20 year old web developer, and was drawn to join the UAG because of his interest in designing websites, along with a passion for youth and environmental issues. Originally from Israel, Illai moved to NZ at a young age and now resides in Auckland.
Pegasus:
Pegasus comes from a Pacific Island heritage, and is currently studying Social Policy in Wellington. Pegasus hopes to bring a Pacific perspective to the UAG, and share her experiences with other young people throughout New Zealand. She recently spent two years in America at summer camp.
Colin:
Colin goes to Wainuiomata High School, where his favourite subjects are music, maths and P.E. His interests include playing soccer, playing the drums, rifle badminton, and hanging out with mates. Colin looks forward to meeting new people, helping fellow youth and making new friends through the UAG.

Holly:
Holly is 17 years old and was born in Zimbabwe and moved to NZ about 3 years ago. She enjoys dancing, reading and loves to go to the beach with friends and family.
She is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Communications with the hope of doing Journalism at AUT in Auckland City.
Holly is involved with Urge because she's really passionate about helping young people in New Zealand, and felt Urge was a great way to do so. She feels that it is also a way to make a positive difference by having young peoples voices on board and involved in every aspect of running the website.
Claire Horwell:
Claire is a Bluff girl born and breed and is now residing in Dunedin where she has been studying for the past 6 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Education, and is currently in her final year of a Counselling qualification. As she comes from a small town she loves the feeling of a community, and has found a passion working for and with youth within whatever community she is in. She is also a Youthline volunteer and found her pathway to URGE through her involvement here. She joined YUAG in order to help out on a site that she feels could be pertinent to youth development and support through any tough and confusing times.

Kenny Ardouin
17 year old Kenny Arduoin is originally from England and moved with his family to Christchurch in 2000. In September 2005, Kenny set up my own organisation for people (in particular young people) with Cleft Lip and/or Palate called Cleft Kids New Zealand. The philosophy of Cleft Kids NZ was that it is to be a service run for kids by kids. Kenny is passionate about youth voice, participation and representation and wants to make difference in someone's young people’s lives and become part of Urge.

Jasmin: Jasmin Albert is an 18 year old half Maori half European Aucklander with six brothers and sisters. Jasmin attended the Youthline Alternative Education school, and has participated as a volunteer at many Youthline events and in heaps of different leadership courses. Jas is currently studying to be a teacher aide, with a goal of one day being a social worker.
