MR FUFU AND VALEA
It was a freezing Auckland morning and Mr Fufu was going on his daily jog in Myers Park. It had been raining earlier that morning, and as Mr Fufu approached the stairs at the top of Myers Park he did not notice the mud puddle. As Mr Fufus right foot hit the puddle he felt the cold sticky mud splat up the inside of his Track pants. Mr Fufu felt his right foot slide through the slippery puddle and a wave of panic rushed through his body. He felt a series of sharp blows as his elbow, knees and head bounced down the long set of stairs. At the bottom of the stairs mr fufu rolled to a stop then tried to stand up, he stand upright for a few seconds then felt dizzy and fell back over on the wet pavement. Mr Fufu managed to get back on his feet, he felt embarrassed as he looked around to check if anyone else had seen his terrible fall. Mr Fufu was relieved that he could not see anyone else in Myers Park on this cold and horrible morning.
Unfortunately for Mr Fufu he did not notice valea standing behind the statue at the bottom of the stairs. Valea had been in Myers Park trying out his brand new digital video camera which he had bough from bond and bond two days before. Valea could not believe his luck he rewound the footage on the camera and laughed as he watched it, again. Later that evening valea was eating dinner in front of the TV New Zealand funniest home video was on. Valea was thinking how he could put his videos New Zealand’s funniest home videos as he was watching New Zealand’s funniest home videos an address came on the screen and a voice said “send in your funny videos and you could win $100,000.”
It had been six months since Mr Fufu had fallen down the steps at Myers Park and all his bumps and bruises had finally healed. As he sat down to eat his dinner in front of the TV he noticed his favourite program New Zealand’s home funniest videos was on. Mr Fufu laughed and laughed as he watched the clips off the unfortunately people getting into embarrassing situations. Suddenly Mr Fufu reconsiders purple track pants as they flashed across the screen and he thought to himself they looked just like my track pants. Then to Mr Fufu horror he realized that the purple track pants on the screen were his own. A wave of embracement rushed thought his body as he watched himself tumbling down the stairs. The presenter on the TV announced that Mr Valea nonu from New Lynn had just won $100.000 for his video clip entitled “stupid jogger falls down the stairs.” Mr Fufu ran to his telephone grabbed his phone book he found valea nonu’s name phone number and address. He picked up the phone and angrily dialed the number. Valea picked up the phone and said “hello this is valea speaking” mr fufu shouted “why did you put me on the TV, I’m coming to have a word with you”mr fufu went to valea’s house and knocked on the door, but it wasn’t valea that answered the door, it was valea’s mother. Mr Fufu asked politely if valea was home valea’s mum replied hold on a minute ill get him. A couple of minute’s later valea came to the door. When Mr Fufu saw valea he felt very angry and made a big fist he punched valea so hard that valea was unconscious.
