Whether you have a clear idea of what you may want to pursue or not, the Career Services website is an awesome place to visit.  Here you can do everything from discovering some possible career paths and what subjects you should be taking at secondary school, to which training institutes in New Zealand offer the course that you are looking for.

Deciding what you want to do in life can be hard! Some questions to ask yourself might be:

What kind of stuff am I good at?

What are the things that I do that make me feel proud of myself?

What kind of skills do I think I have?

Am I creative or good at coming up with new ideas?

Am I good at manual work?

Do I like using numbers?

Do I like drawing?

Am I a good leader?

Do I want to use my skills overseas?

Do I like working with people?

Do I like working outside?

Could I work in an office?

Are there things that I can do for work or study that would help the people in my family or community?

How do I work best?  By myself or with other people?

Will I need to study to get there?

What hours of work or study would suit me?
